 Overview

  • Schools participating in Mercy Learning Online have provided valuable feedback allowing the program to develop. Faculty and administrators have offered constructive ideas for the administrative components of the program allowing it to improve each year. Faculty have consistently developed and revised courses incorporating content and skills in creative, challenging formats.

  • Students in Mercy schools learning through this online program have also provided helpful input through the end of course survey. Their suggestions and comments have led to better communication plans and orientation.

  • Students in Mercy schools experience excellence in their school programs, are motivated and meet the challenge of studying in a new environment. Faculty have demonstrated creativity, diligence, hard work and commitment.

  • Believing that the opportunities for online study will grow and will be an option for students in post-secondary study, Mercy Learning Online provides a guided, structured introduction to this form of learning.

  • Mercy Learning Online is an option for an experience in learning and does not seek to replace learning which takes place in each Mercy school. In each of these schools students experience a community committed to Catholic, Mercy education. This education fosters life-long learning and the development of leaders. Mercy Learning Online is an extension of, not a replacement for, this learning.
